My dad is a bookworm and each year he visits the Book Fair in Istanbul. This year I asked him to buy some children’s books suitable for Leo’s age. He came home with so many great books. This magnetic farm book seemed too advanced and I kept it away till today. He loves books and he loves animals so I thought I should give the book a try. When I gave the book, he was very interested in collecting the magnetic pieces in his hand. I was very alert to hold him if he would put one of them in his mouth. He never tried though. It was a good introduction about the pages and about the way it is used. I will give the book again and again and I think he’ll be doing better every time.
It is a good activity for developing perceptual skills and for hand-eye coordination skills. He had to find where each piece belonged and place it correctly.
